What is ChopShop?
ChopShop is an AI video studio built on our own generation engine. You work with the Director in one console: give it your music, story, product, and photos, and it produces a finished, ready-to-post video. Every studio on this site is live today, with more tools on the way.
How do I get started?
Pick what you want to make at the top of the home page. Each door opens its own studio: videos open the Director console, which walks you through every step in English or Spanish; storybooks open their own step-by-step builder.
Do I approve work before spending heavily?
Yes — that is the whole flow. The Director builds a storyboard first, for free, and every scene must be approved by you before the video renders. The video costs 1,000 credits, charged only when you start the animation, and failed runs are refunded automatically.
How is my content handled?
Uploaded and generated files are used to deliver your requested workflow, support troubleshooting, and keep the platform secure. We do not sell your uploads, and retention is limited to what is operationally necessary and legally required.
How long does processing take?
Simple jobs can finish quickly, while multi-step creative workflows take longer depending on the assets, model, and queue load. The product surfaces progress so you are not guessing what happened.
Can I use the results commercially?
In general, yes, as long as you have the rights to the source material you upload and your intended use complies with applicable law, platform rules, and our terms.
Do you offer refunds?
Because AI outputs are generated on demand, refunds are reviewed case by case. If a paid run fails because of a platform issue, contact support and we will review it quickly under the Terms of Service.
